To capitalise on China’s rapidly expanding skincare category and the absence of authentic and affordable European brands in its market, Watsons and WHAM set about repositioning Le Suiss Derm, specialists in restorative skincare originating from alpine Switzerland.
Our approach was simple, yet powerful: to emphasise the brand’s ‘Swiss-ness’. This led to a new visual language capturing the luminescent skin of models in glacial mountain ranges – an environment that feels a million miles from cities’ urban landscapes – and messaging that emphasised unique product formulas crafted in Swiss skincare labs.
With a rejuvenated brand story, art direction and set of photographic assets, our work successfully elevated Le Suiss Derm’s credentials, rolling out across Watsons stores, ecommerce and digital media.
